Red Bulls BannerThe Manchester Pub is an official New York Red Bulls Partner Pub.  Founded in 1994 as the New York/New Jersey Metrostars, the New York Red Bulls are one of the original ten teams in Major League Soccer, the premier division in the United States.  The club’s roster had featured international and US soccer legends Roberto Donadoni, Giovanni Savarese,  Tony Meola, Alexi Lalas, Tab Ramos. Thomas Dooley, Clint Mathis, Claudio Reyna, Eddie Pope, Jeff Agoos, Amado Guevera, Tim Howard, Juan Pablo Angel, Michael Bradley, Jozy Altidore, Tim Cahill, and Thierry Henry.  Let’s not talk about Rafa Marquez and Lothar Matthäus.  Former US Men’s National Teams Coaches Bruce Arena and Bob Bradley have coached the side.  The team plays in a beautiful soccer-specific stadium located in Harrison, NJ.

Alumni Groups

The Hunter College High School Alumnae/i Association nurtures the already strong Hunter alumnae/i community by hosting an annual reunion, facilitating individual class reunions, and organizing numerous social events including theater parties, museum tours, happy hours and networking events. The HCHSAA publishes AlumNotes and maintains an online database. The AA also provides financial support to the school via an annual fund drive, class gifts, estate and memorial gifts and other fundraising.

The NYU Alumni Association is the umbrella organization for all University alumni. Its purpose is to build and sustain a lifelong relationship between the University and its alumni.  The NYUAA’s various committees allow alumni to focus their energy in areas that are helpful to the University. Through these committees, alumni actively work with the University on higher education issues related to city and state government and on community service. They work to link students and alumni through events like Freshman Orientation, the annual Student Leaders Dinner, and student-alumni mentoring events. Alumni also help to raise crucial fundraising dollars through the Fund for NYU.

The Alumni Association of the University of Michigan is an independent, worldwide organization that nurtures lifelong relationships with and among current and future Michigan alumni. Astoria Park Catering provides delicious, homemade food and professional service for all your personal and business needs.  We specialize in both private dinners as well as parties and events. Opened in May of 2009, Astoria Park Catering showcases Chef Garelick’s unique  culinary training and experiences while affording clients with  the personalized service only available from a private chef. Chef Matthew Garelick is an alumnus of the French Culinary Institute with over 7 years of fine dining experience.  He has worked at such notable restaurants as L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon, Adour by Alain Ducasse and Del Frisco’s Steakhouse as well as the executive dining rooms of Citigroup and the HBO Network.  He currently serves as a Chef de Partie at Wall and Water Restaurant in the new Andaz Hotel Wall Street.

Larry Westler Photography was responsible for all the photos of the bar and our food and drink offerings on this website.  Larry has been taking photos to capture his own biased truth since he was 9 years old, when his parents gave him a Kodak Fisher Price Camera.  He’s since upgraded to an adult camera.  After earning a Bachelor’s degree in still photography from Ithaca College, he’s traveled around North America as well as overseas, using that camera to record moments in time and make sense of foreign spaces.  Though mainly concerned with travel, lifestyle and landscapes, Larry is versatile enough to dabble in events, portraiture, fashion and food, as seen from the recent collaboration with Manchester Pub.  His unique vision can be shared at: and
