The Empire Brewing Company will be taking over the Manchester Pub on Thursday July 25, 2013 for a special 5-course beer pairing dinner.  The dinner will feature a 5-course “farm-to-table” inspired menu by Chef Matthew Garelick (Sous Chef at Wall and Water Restaurant) each specifically paired with a delicious beer from Empire.

Empire is one of our favorite breweries here at the Manchester Pub.  Its beers are delicious, and we thrilled to be featuring the Aphro, Live and Let RyeGolden Dragon, and Black Magic Stout here during the dinner.  And we take cues from The Empire, Empire Brewing’s restaurant in Syracuse, NY that utilizes locally sourced ingredients.

In fact, we will be featuring those local ingredients here during the dinner, as Chef Matt has created a 5-course menu that is “farm-to-table” inspired.  Meadowood Farm, from Madison County, NY, will have its Sheep’s Cheese featured in our 1st course.  I’m excited about our “Cheese Steak” course, as how could you go wrong with pasture-raised filet, bacon, 7-year cheddar, and bourbon?  And we are thrilled to showcase Brewla Bars in our Chocolate and Coconut Tamale dessert course.

The dinner takes place on Thursday July 25 in two grouped seatings: 6:30pm and 9:00pm.  The price is $50 per person, plus tax and gratuity.  Reservations could be made by emailing Lawrence at lawrence@manchesterpubnyc.com.
